We are honored to have the opportunity to sell The Estate Of Jim & Sherry Claggett, on Saturday August 13th. This portion of the sale is only for a few items at the estate. This is an "Online Only" Auction starting August 10, 2022 - 5 PM and ending August 18, 2022 - 7 PM. A Buyer's Premium of 15% plus 6% sales tax will be added to your invoice at the close of the auction. Items must be picked up at the auction house within a week after the auction, unless other arrangements have been made with the Auction House
Bidding Notice:
This is an Online Auction only. Items may be inspected at the Chesapeake Auction House, St. Leonard, MD, Wednesday- Saturday 10 AM- 5 PM. Successful bids will be available for pick up at the auction house during our regular hours (Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm). Be sure to bring your Paid in Full invoice.

Auction Notice: Shipping is available with additional shipping and handling fees. Our shipping partner is ParcelEx, LLC, in Prince Frederick, MD. Contact ParcelEx Ship Center for a shipping estimate. ParcelEx Ship Center requires the Auction Date, Lot#, item dimensions (L"x W"x H") and weight of the item, plus your full address in order to provide an accurate packaging and shipping estimate. Your shipping expense is based upon many factors including packaged weight, final dimensions, commodity insurance value, packaging materials used, labor and destination information. Most large furniture items will require freight shipping, and often must be shipped as palletized freight or inside of a custom-built wooden crate, therefore detailed description information, including the lot#, is required to estimate packaging requirements. Building Materials, Farm/Home/Lawn/Garden Equipment/Items, Tools Auction This is a "live, on-site auction with opportunity for bids (on some but not all items/lots) to be placed online BEFORE the start of the live auction (see note below). This auction will include building materials from Dean Home Supply + Service Co.; Utility and Lawn/Garden Tractors; Mowers; Lawn/Garden Attachments; Tools; & More. NOTE: This is a live, on-site auction. Some items will be online for "pre-auction" bidding. The ability to place bids online will be open strating on or about September 1, 2022 and be open until on or about 6 pm Friday, September 9th at which time the online bidding will close and those bids received will be carried over to the live auction. A member of our staff will bid on your behalf . If you have provided a "maximum bid" above your current or startng bid a member of our staff will bid on your behalf until other competitive bidding stops OR once your maximum bid has been realized -- whichever occurs first. If there is a particular item you wish to bid via phone bid, please contact our office before 6 pm on Friday, August 9, 2022 and provide us your contact and payment information. A member of our staff will contact you when that particular item is open for bidding and you can bid in "real time" as that particular item is being sold via phone. (Please note, the number of "phone bidding" arrangement/capabilities may be limited so call early). We may upload descriptions of some items/lots but may not have opportunity to upload pictures for all lots. Not all items/lots will be available for pre-auction bidding. We expect we will have many more items in the auction not listed online for bidding.
